What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. There is no account system on this site and no advertising tracking.

  • Enquiries and private hire. If you email us or fill in a form, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and whatever you write to us. We use it to reply and to arrange your booking.
  • Job applications. The careers form collects your name, contact details, the role you're interested in, your message and your CV. We use it only to consider you for work with us.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and is not used to profile you.

Our legal bases are your consent when you contact us, our legitimate interest in running a secure website and in recruiting staff, and taking steps to enter a contract where you are booking something with us.

Cookies

We use one advertising cookie, and only if you say yes. When you first visit we ask whether you're happy for Google Ads measurement to run. Nothing from Google loads until you accept.

We use a small amount of browser storage for the site to work — for example remembering items you've added to a merch basket while you browse, or where you were in a page. This is strictly functional, stays on your device, and is never used to track you across other websites.

Google Ads (conversion measurement). If you accept, Google sets cookies to tell us whether a visit came from one of our ads. Google's use of this data is described in its advertising policy. If you decline, nothing is set and the site works exactly the same. You can clear browser storage at any time in your browser settings.

You can change your mind at any time: reset your cookie choice and the question will be asked again.

Third parties

Some things on this site are handled by other companies. When you use them, their own privacy policy applies to what happens on their platform.

  • Ticket Tailor — event ticketing. When you click through to buy tickets, your details and payment are handled by Ticket Tailor. We receive attendee lists for the events you book.
  • Shopify — art prints and merchandise. Orders, payment and delivery details are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see your full card details.
  • Netlify — website hosting, including the server logs described above.
  • Google Fonts — typefaces are currently loaded from Google's servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads. No cookie is set. We are in the process of hosting these fonts ourselves to remove that transfer.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry and booking emails: up to two years after your last contact with us.
  • Job applications: twelve months, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or you join the team.
  • Server logs: as retained by our hosting provider, typically under 30 days.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. You can also withdraw consent at any time. We'll respond within one month.

To make a request, email hello@quinnsofdrumcondra.ie and say what you'd like us to do.
